Emma Sand Group blends the raw sonorities of elegant rock with strong Americana influences, supported by powerful vocals and the sensitivity of an inhabited, warrior-like, fragile performer.
The group invites the audience on a journey: troubled and hypnotic atmospheres, folk ballads with rock and blues accents, in the colors of poetic and quirky road movies.
The 'Emma Sand Group' has existed since 2014, born from a meeting between Emma Sand (vocals, guitar) and Frank Joannès (guitars). They were joined in 2015 by Cyrille Latour (bass) and in 2023 by Guillaume Lebel (drums).
After 2 EPs, their first album 'Beautiful Boy' released on 20 October 2023 is available on all streaming platforms. °°° Ian Kent specializes in American brewing and vagabond songwriting, between Bobby Charles and Tom Waits.
Two sessions of a few days featuring Mandolin, guitars, violin, Bandoneon, bass, Dobro percussion, hypnotic chorus and other tricks from US folklore voodoo.
