It was by listening carefully to the lyrics of the unmissable Piano Man by Billy Joel that I realized how much this song reflected my own life as a pianist.
Since the age of 11, when I started playing, people around me often ask me to perform pieces, intros or solos where the piano plays a remarkable role. Today, I invite you to relive, for the time of a concert, these moments of piano in pop that have marked me.
And since there are hundreds, this first episode will be devoted to a Pop-Rock special, from my birth in 1968 to today, with my companion Sylvain Gontard on trumpet, the voices of Ninon Hot and Elliott, all supported by a dream rhythm section: Damian Nueva on double bass and Jeff Ludovicus on drums.
