30 years after « 1 Voix, 10 Doigts », Claude Nougaro's legendary album in duo with Maurice Vander, here is « Une Voix, Six Cordes » by Yvan Cujious (vocals, trumpet) and Louis Winsberg (guitar, arrangements). For a repertoire rarely arranged and played on guitar, it took the immense talent of Louis Winsberg (Sixun, Nougaro, Maurane…) and the precise and delicate voice of Yvan Cujious to embody, in a singular and new way, a masterful repertoire in which Spain pushes its horn a little. In this high-flying concert-show, between virtuoso performances and unreleased texts, stand-up and jazz concert, we cry, we sing, we laugh, and then we shiver when an “Armstrongian” trumpet comes to make the link between Mississippi and Garonne. For the 20th anniversary of Claude Nougaro's passing, Yvan Cujious and Louis Winsberg have decided to pay tribute to him.
