Frequently asked questions

What is a Candlelight concert?

A concert series created by Fever: musicians in intimate formations (string quartet, piano…) perform tributes to popular artists or classical masterpieces, surrounded by thousands of candles in remarkable venues. Concerts last about an hour, without intermission.

Are the candles real?

No — they are flameless LED candles, required for the safety of heritage venues. The visual effect is very much real.

How much do tickets cost?

From €19 for the most affordable programmes. Price mostly depends on the venue: large venues like Maison de l'Océan are the entry point, concerts in the Gustave Eiffel lounge of the Eiffel Tower are the most expensive. Each programme's "from" price is shown on this page.

Who performs and who organises Candlelight concerts?

Candlelight is a series created and organised by Fever. These are tribute concerts: Candlelight musicians perform the repertoire of an artist or composer, and the original artist is not on stage.

How long does a Candlelight concert last?

About an hour, without intermission. Doors usually open 30 to 45 minutes before the start — seating is by zone, first come first seated within your zone.
