"What we take with us when everything disappears" For his first creation, the young Mohammed Al Qudwa tells his story. A Palestinian artist and poet, at just 22 years old, he has already lived through five wars in Gaza.
Blending concrete memories with poetic impulses, he questions the child he was, then the teenager and young adult forced to leave his country, leaving behind the memory of his past life.
Through the destruction of a territory, he explores what can be transmitted when all seems lost. Today, welcomed and supported by the Festival Paris l'été as part of the Collège de France's PAUSE programme, he puts words to the unspeakable.
Mixing theatre, dance and karate – Mohammed Al Qudwa was a high-level athlete in the Palestinian national team – this poignant solo performance never forgets to evoke humour and hope.
