Come and discover the excellence of design creation from the Arab world: a selection of works by the finalist designers of the Institut du monde arabe Design Prize 2026. Discover the finalists of the 2026 Design Prize. Bringing together a prestigious jury, this prize aims to highlight emerging and established designers from the region, demonstrating their expertise, productive genius, and the creation of new materials. It offers a contemporary reading of the exceptional art of living in the Arab world through the prism of design. The exhibition brings together the finalists of this 4th edition, selected in five categories:

Emerging Talent Prize (student or designer whose professional practice is less than 10 years old): this prize pays particular attention to solutions provided for challenges specific to Arab countries, manufacturing processes, and development potential.

Contemporary Craftsmanship Prize: forward-looking, this Prize, created under the impetus of Nada Debs, crowns craftsmanship that revisits traditions (including through the use of technological innovations) to address contemporary challenges such as sustainability, personalisation, and the valorisation of local heritage.

Impact Prize, Arab Bank Switzerland: this prize recognises social impact (education and transmission, safeguarding territories, protecting populations); environmental impact (ecological solutions, local production, valorisation of low-carbon materials); and economic impact (development of operational processes, technologies, modernisation of traditions, job creation).

Grand Prize (architect or designer whose professional practice is more than 10 years old): this prize rewards a concrete achievement, object, or interior architecture project, revealing the talent developed by its creator throughout a recognised career.
