« Sonorous Roots » invites you on a vibrant musical journey between contemporary jazz, Creole and Caribbean rhythms. Béatrice Civaton deploys a free, inhabited voice, carried by the energy of the collective.

With « Sonorous Roots », singer and composer Béatrice Civaton embarks on a new stage of her artistic journey, an original creation in residency, at the intersection of contemporary jazz and Caribbean pulsations.

Songs in French and Creole draw a sensitive and embodied sonic landscape. A weaver of melodies, she explores with finesse improvisation, syncopated rhythms and the living memory of the islands. Around her, five accomplice musicians carefully build this living sonic architecture.

Léa Molina on flute instills airy lines that evoke the wind of heights, sometimes soft, sometimes impetuously. On guitar, Nicolas Attié weaves constant dialogue with the voice, between rhythmic clarity and harmonic flashes.

Jean-Christophe Raufaste on bass grounds the musical matter in telluric depth, while Jeff Ludovicus on drums carries the breath of groove, between tension, release and syncopated bursts. Since 2012, Baiser Salé has opened its doors to emerging talents! The objective?

To offer them a creative lab, a framework to develop their repertoire, refine their stage presence and experiment freely, test new compositions and propose an intimate set. A promising and fruitful slot where creativity and energy have no limits!
