Saxophonist Phillip Dornbusch and trombonist Gaspard Moglia met during their studies in New York where they continue their artistic path today. Their meeting gave birth to a musical collaboration as natural as it is passionate.
Together, they founded a quartet in singular colors, where contemporary jazz energy, the audacity of original compositions and bold melodic exploration blend together. Their sound draws from the heritage of modern jazz while exploring new sonic territories.
To complete their alchemy, they gathered exceptional musicians around them: Quinton Cain, a drummer based in Brooklyn, and Gabriel Sauzay, a Parisian double bassist.
Their repertoire is nourished above all by the original compositions of the two leaders, and immerses us in an immersive experience where each note resonates like a story in its own right.
