Talented musicians, delicate lyrics, music with a jazz aesthetic that kicks!
Jeff Vinolo humbly follows in the footsteps of his glorious predecessors, Nougaro, Legrand, Salvador… A lover of the French language, fine harmonies and jazz melodies, with his longtime collaborator and friend François Méchali, a tremendous jazz double bassist, they offer compositions resonating with life's stained glass.
A defence of French chanson grounded in delicate poetry and melodies with jazz and classical influences. Accompanied by Mathieu Bélis, pianist trained at the Bill Evans Academy and creator of the Yeliz Trio.
In swaying atmosphere and elegant soaring, he clothes the Trio's compositions. Regularly programmed on the jazz stage, they return for September's start at Son de la Terre to present their new show: PAR ICI … ICI C'EST PARIS!
