Ni-Hao!!!!

Sanit Mils presents: Ni-Hao!!!! July 20, 2026 at Le Chinois in Montreuil. Cult group on the Japanese underground scene, Ni-Hao!!!! has developed since the late 1990s a completely singular universe at the crossroads of punk, electronics and performance.

Formed in Kyoto, the female quartet imposes an atypical formula mixing percussion, sampler, bass, guitar and multiple vocals, for a result as chaotic as jubilant.

Their music, which they themselves describe as "cheer punk," explodes traditional formats and favors energy, spontaneity and interaction. Each concert becomes an intense collective experience, between screams, disjointed rhythms and festive tension.

Spotted early on by New York legend John Zorn, who produced their first albums on the Tzadik label, the group forged a solid international reputation through numerous tours in Europe, Asia and the Americas.

Their track Matsuri-Shake was notably used by Rosalía for the introduction of her world tour, as well as by Prada for a fashion show.
