"Piaffou" is a story performed and drawn, an intimate, poetic, and musical show, without artifice, simple and accessible.

Get to know this little bird, watch it being born and living through the 4 seasons… You will discover the violin, the ukulele, various instruments and bird calls, object theatre, and beautiful, original, never-before-heard nursery rhymes that will stick in your head!

It was during an educational mission in Cameroon that Valérie and Nathalie, both musicians, and their two worlds full of humour, poetry, and creative spirit met. Valérie de Nattes, violinist and storyteller, is a multifaceted artist.

Interested in the relationship between text and music, she sets various children's albums to music and creates several musical storytelling shows.

Music is the central character of her stories; she takes us on a journey with her violin, which she considers the universal instrument par excellence. Singer and songwriter, Nathalie Chanrion performs on stage under the name Ziaux.

Her world is inhabited by smiles, pearls of humour, and sweet, jazzy melodies that she accompanies with her ukulele. Graphic designer and illustrator, she loves to create shows in which objects, drawings, words, and sounds interact and convey beautiful emotions.
