Simone Magliozzi - Made in Paris

This project marks a new chapter for Simone Magliozzi, an Italian guitarist based in Paris, who moves away from his roots in jazz manouche to explore a broader and more personal musical universe.

Deeply inspired by great figures in jazz history such as Wes Montgomery, Joe Pass and especially Django Reinhardt, he approaches this rich heritage not as a destination, but as a starting point. These influences form the foundation of an open and ambitious artistic vision.

From there, the project expands into a vast sonic universe, blending old songs, Latin influences and forgotten treasures.

This results in a vibrant and ever-evolving musical identity, where tradition and exploration coexist, and where jazz becomes a gateway to new rhythmic and melodic horizons.
