Disco Rital is a 100% vinyl DJ set that revives the energy and charm of the golden age of Italian music, with a good dose of self-mockery and love of kitsch 💿 And for the occasion, an Italian food menu lands again at the Barboteur 🍝 Italy dances on the pavement and on your taste buds.
At the turntables, the twin brothers Francesco and Giovanni Semeraro select with humor and passion from hundreds of 45 and 33 rpm records that, from the 1950s to the 1990s, turned in the record players of Italians from France and French from Italy.
Born too old in too young a world, the Semeraro brothers have been collecting for years the forgotten gems found at flea markets in Paris and the suburbs. Their mission?
To bring new life to these melodies that made generations of Italians and lovers of Italy dance, sing, dream and fall in love 🇮🇹 Program: Bel Canto, popular song, Tarantella, Italo Disco, Pop & Dance from the 1970s, italo-Neapolitan rock & roll, film music, Italian-French song...
