From Tuesday 30 June to Monday 6 July, flamenco dancer LORENA RODRIGUEZ will be in Paris for the first time for a week of group classes and various workshops. We are honored to welcome her, and we invite you to two shows with her for this occasion.
Lorena Rodriguez is a magnetic, inhabited, embodied, powerful dancer. But she is more than just a volcanic stage presence. She is also a fascinating pedagogue, endowed with a generosity and energy that builds people up and lifts them higher.
This Thursday 2 July, we will see her on stage alternating with some of her Parisian students, who work with her either in Seville or online, or who share their learning alongside her between France and Spain.
Jing, Péguy, Pauline, Amélie, Yuriko and Meriem will present a complete baile [dance], or an excerpt from their work. They will be accompanied by Chloé PAOLA on cante, and Laurent NOËL on guitar. Tablao begins: 9pm - Bar and catering before and after the show.
