Dominguinho

João Gomes, Mestrinho and Jota. Pê.

João Gomes, Mestrinho and Jota. Pê present “Dominguinho” — a musical project that turns Sundays into moments of music, and which is now setting out to conquer Brazilian stages! When a group of friends meets amid historic alleyways and sunsets, poetry can be born.

And when those friends are João Gomes, Mestrinho and Jota. Pê, that poetry comes to life as music, rhythm and emotion. That is how Dominguinho was born — an audiovisual project that celebrates encounters, lightness and the musical richness of Brazil.

Recorded at the historic site of Olinda, Dominguinho is far more than a simple filmed concert: it is a genuine sensory experience, designed to wrap Sundays in gentleness and serenity.

The repertoire comprises 12 tracks blending the greatest hits of the three artists, one unreleased song — Flor, written by Mestrinho and Erivaldo Júnior — as well as reworked versions of well-known songs, such as a medley of Mete Um Block Nele and Ela Tem, or a subtle reinterpretation of Pontes Indestrutíveis, by the group Charlie Brown Jr.

Already available on digital platforms, Dominguinho has won over a wide audience and is establishing itself as one of the year's most delightful musical surprises. With nearly one million plays a day, the project today crosses the boundaries of digital to take to the stage.

The first live performance takes place in São Paulo, in grand style, and marks the start of a national tour that promises to spread the beauty and simplicity of music imbued with tenderness across the whole of Brazil.
