From "The Umbrellas of Cherbourg" to "Yentl", via "The Demoiselles of Rochefort", the group revisits the great works of the composer through original arrangements carried by three solo voices and a singular jazz formation.
Each piece reveals a new facet of Legrand's universe, between harmonic finesse and interpretive freedom.
The songs, rewritten with original arrangements to dialogue with the vocal and instrumental timbres of the group, offer a sensitive and contemporary reading of a repertoire emblematic of Francophone music.
Conceived as both a musical and scenic experience, Legrand Soir blends poetry, theatricality and improvisation in a vibrant tribute to one of the 20th century's greatest composers.
