Immersed in Colombia's musical universe before conquering Europe, Nancy Murillo ignites festivals with Rico Changuï and her 'Sonera Moderna' title.
After studying singing, dance and drama, and collaborating with bands Bahia and Azul Amazonas in her native Colombia, Nancy Murillo arrived in Europe in 1993 where she has since set fire to many festivals and Latin music events.
With her Rico Changuï formation, Nancy Murillo, inspired as much by the queen of salsa Celia Cruz as by Lupe, brings her 'Sonera Moderna' character to life by performing an extensive repertoire of Latin music and traditional Colombian folklore.
