SHALLOWATER (10:00 PM) (Indie shoegaze - Texas, US) Born where the Dust Bowl never left, the West Texas trio known as Shallowater – Blake Skipper (guitar/vocals), Tristan Kelly (bass), and Ryan Faulkenberry (drums) – blends elements of slowcore, post-hardcore, country, and Americana that defy categorisation.

Quickly establishing themselves as a band to watch on the alt-country/slowcore scene, the “raw West Texas dirtgaze” – as this powerful trio describes itself – has positioned the band as an evocative and distinctive force among current projects blending alternative genres.

The band released their second album, God's Gonna Give You a Million Dollars, in September 2025, generating buzz from Stereogum, Brooklyn Vegan, Alt Press, Beats per Minute, Fantano, and many others.

Produced by Alex Farrar (MJ Lenderman, Wednesday, Indigo de Souza), the album oscillates between country and slowcore, mixing heavy, distorted instrumentals with soft, dynamic covers, and even features a contribution from Hayden Pedigo, another West Texas musician.

Although a relatively new band, the trio has already secured significant opportunities, including performing on the main stage of Austin City Limits in 2025, and is preparing for their second major festival, End of the Road, in September 2026.
