About — The venue

The Batofar (formerly Osprey) is a performance venue now located in Paris, created in 1999 in a former lightship moored at Port de la Gare, on the banks of the Seine, in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, opposite the Bibliothèque nationale de France.

The Batofar can accommodate up to 300 people within its 300 m2 space, which includes a 75 m2 concert hall. In summer, the establishment offers outdoor dining on its terrace.

Since its acquisition in May 2018, the establishment, which had closed for renovation and reconversion, reopened in 2019 under the name Bateau Phare; while retaining a festive and musical vocation, it has reoriented its style and programming.
