About — The venue

Le Schmilblick is a humorous sketch by Coluche from 1975, parodying a daily game show with a quasi-homonymous name from French television in the late 1960s: Le Schmilblic. Voiced by Martin Lamotte imitating Guy Lux and Christine Dejoux as Simone Garnier, Coluche performs various characters, each more colorful than the last. The artist takes the opportunity to satirize different sociological and behavioral profiles of the 1970s and to mock certain game shows and popular television presenters.
