Counting Crows incarne le rock américain à hauteur d’homme : « August and Everything After » (1993) et son tube « Mr. Jones » ont fait des Californiens l’un des groupes majeurs des années 90, entre folk-rock, soul et confessions torrentielles d’Adam Duritz — « Round Here », « A Long December », « Accidentally in Love ».
