THE RUSSIAN CHOIR OF PARIS ZNAMENIE: has been formed since 2009, under the direction of Ekaterina Anapolskaya. The ensemble's repertoire consists of pieces of Russian liturgical music, very often written by the most illustrious Russian composers (Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov, Balakirev, Chesnokov, Gretchaninov,…). The presence of numerous soloists within the choir allows the ensemble to perform opera excerpts in concert. Verdi, Mascagni, Tchaikovsky, Borodin, or Dargomyzhsky are also part of the Choir's repertoire.
