For over forty years, Eric JOHNSON has led a prolific odyssey. Over time, his creations have influenced various musical genres, notably rock, blues, jazz, fusion, soul, folk, new age, classical, and even country.
One of the most remarkable instrumentalists rock has seen in the past forty years was already a legend before he even recorded his first album. In the early 1980s, many celebrated guitarists sang the praises of this skinny young man from Austin, endowed with stunning talent.
He was compared to legendary guitarists such as Jeff Beck and Jimi Hendrix. Since 1986, Eric has released seventeen albums, plus albums with other artists such as "Eclectic" with jazz guitarist Mike Stern, and "G3 Live," certified platinum, with Joe Satriani and Steve Vai.
Eric JOHNSON has received eight Grammy Award nominations as well as numerous other accolades, awards, and wins in various polls and magazines.
