Overview
Get your oars ready, because Odin's longship, the Father of All, is soon set to put back out to sea! The Viking metal titans Amon Amarth announce today a long run of concerts that will see them cross oceans and sail across Europe and the United Kingdom in autumn 2026.
This 100% Swedish invasion, dubbed The Allfather Awakens, will take on board two generations of death metal bands, Orbit Culture and Soilwork, who will open the hostilities.
After spending last summer navigating stormy seas as support to Slayer in Cardiff and London, then going off to conquer American stages with Pantera, Amon Amarth will present, on these next dates as headliners, a brand-new theatrical staging as well as a gargantuan setlist.
These five pagans, hungrier than ever, will launch their raid on England before setting out to conquer the European Union, beginning with France, in Paris, on Tuesday 13 October at Zénith Paris - La Villette, before spilling across the whole of the old continent.
All of this is very real, it is not another devilish and mischievous ruse concocted by Loki.
