Kasabian is an English rock band formed in 1997 in Leicester. The band is composed of Serge Pizzorno on vocals, Chris Edwards on bass, Ian Matthews on drums, and Tim Carter on guitar. 5 billion streams on Spotify alone.
Multi-awarded (Brit Awards, NME Awards, Mojo Awards, Q Awards), they have also been nominated for the Mercury Prize and MTV Video Music Awards.
The band has headlined the biggest British festivals, notably Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds, Isle of Wight, and Victorious, as well as numerous other festivals around the world.
Their surprise concert at Glastonbury Festival in 2024 generated such enthusiasm that the tent had to be closed several hours early for safety reasons. In summer 2024, their eighth studio album Happenings ranked number 1 on the British charts and was praised by critics.
Their next opus, ACT III, is expected for spring 2026. After a performance at Rock en Seine in 2024, Kasabian will return to Paris for an exceptional concert at Salle Pleyel on June 29.
