LOVETH BESSAMOH (10:30pm) (Rock shoegaze - Inner Basement - Rotterdam, NLD) Loveth Bessamoh is a producer and composer from Rotterdam whose roots are in Cameroon, where he played percussion at church and in boarding school.
His music oscillates between new wave and krautrock, fusing multiple genres including electronica, shoegaze, afro-rock, jazz, post-punk and afro-psychedelism, combined with the rhythms he heard and played at church.
He strives to remain true to his roots in his music and effortlessly blends genres to create his own psychedelic sound. Loveth Bessamoh started as a solo project and released a few singles and three EPs, but for live performances he formed a four-piece band.
His music is incredibly dynamic, ranging from songs reminiscent of King Krule to Death Grips. The band's live performances are highly energetic, as seen at Popronde, Motel Mozaique, Eendrachts Festival and North Sea Round Town. com/@lovethbesamoh More programming coming very soon!
