Doors open at 7:00pm. THE INITIATIV (10:30pm) (Indie rock - Paris, FR). The Initiativ is a Parisian indie rock and alternative rock band formed in June 2022. The members, Julie and Mateo, met in high school, where the group formed.

They draw their inspiration from varied genres: Britpop, Post-Punk, New Wave and psychedelic rock and freely draw from their influences: The Strokes, Fontaines DC, DIIV, Cage The Elephant among others...

Influences that the group explores without falling into mimicry, building their own identity and singular sound. The Initiativ is a play on the complementarity of the voices of the two singer-guitarists, Julie and Mateo, combining almost opposite timbres in each piece.

Guitar-wise, a balance between catchy melody and grave and powerful riffs, sometimes venturing into a universe with "post-apocalyptic" sonorities.

Always seeking complementarity, a recurring recipe in The Initiativ's project, incorporating direction in chaos, a thread of light in darkness.

The project rests on a powerful rhythm section: sharp and dynamic drums accompanied by round and sophisticated bass, which assert themselves in The Initiativ's sound with a leading role.
