Sometimes one must uproot oneself to attune to one's self and the world around. It is in any case according to this precept that has served him so well that Thylacine decided to pursue his creative quest.
The artist whom we followed aboard the Trans-Siberian, on the roads of the Andes and the Faroe Islands, or in Turkey to learn to play the bağlama, decided for his new album Roads vol. 3 to distance himself once again from the creative automatisms of his Paris studio.
He, who admits difficulty composing two pieces in a single location, this time decided to traverse a new continent for three months.
Always embarked in his now-famous flamboyant caravan, a 1972 Airstream equipped to record, work and perform his travels like no other, William Rezé-Thylacine took the time he needed.
That time which is lacking when one is mired in routine and tour schedules, the time needed for travels to be authentic experiences and for intuition to transform into ever bolder and more original material. A new musical odyssey that continues with a new tour for Thylacine!
