The Pavilion gives the tuba spotlight to Jérémie Dufort for an eclectic evening with his guests: classical music, jazz and klezmer on the program.
As part of Anacrouse - Prelude(s) of Season 2026! We often know him nestled deep in the orchestra, a discreet brass giant charged with making the sonic foundations resonate. Yet the tuba is not just a few low and solemn notes!
For this exceptional evening, Jérémie Dufort, new tubist of the Intercontemporary Ensemble, former musician of the Republican Guard and member of the klezmer band Dumka, takes the helm and invites musician friends from very varied backgrounds.
On the program: unexpected encounters, bridges between styles, sound surprises and musical discoveries. From contemporary repertoire to klezmer influences, through other musical escapades, the tuba reveals itself in turn virtuoso, lyrical, playful, tender or spectacular.
A rare opportunity to discover all the richness of an instrument whose palette of colors is as vast as it is unknown. In short, it's time to shine the spotlight on this giant too often relegated to the background... and finally give it the place it deserves! )
