New exhibitions in Paris
15 exhibitions opened in Paris within the last month — 9 of them free (60%) and 4 closing within two weeks.
A Paris exhibition nearly always follows the same curve: a few quiet weeks after opening, then a steady climb in attendance up to a saturated final stretch, where slots go days ahead and you look at the works over other people’s shoulders. This page gathers the exhibitions that opened less than a month ago, the most recent first — the only list on this site whose order is reversed, since every other one ranks by closing date.
The advantage of coming early is almost entirely practical. The price does not change with the period, and neither does the display; what changes is the number of people in front of each label and the availability of timed slots. At the large institutions, the first weeks still allow booking for the next day, and sometimes walking in on a weekday. One point to watch, though: some exhibitions open before everything is installed, or only start their guided visits and associated programme in the second month — the venue’s site says so.
Excluded from this page are exhibitions announced but not yet open, which are upcoming dates rather than new arrivals, and permanently open venues, whose opening date carries no meaning and which are grouped on the tours and experiences page. Every listing carries the venue, the run, the time left and, where admission is charged, the lowest price found with a link to the official ticket page.

Frequently asked questions
What counts as a new exhibition here?
One that opened less than a month ago and is currently on. Shows announced but not yet open are not new arrivals, and permanently open venues have their own page.
Is it better to visit early in the run?
For comfort, yes: the price and the display do not change, but attendance climbs steadily and timed slots get scarcer towards the end.
Why is this list ordered differently?
Because its promise is “what has just opened”, not “what is closing”. It is the only list on the site sorted by opening date, most recent first.
