Born in the summer of 2023, M.A.O. Cormontreuil brings together Marianne Mérillon (Black Bones, The Bewitched Hands), Anthonin Ternant (Black Bones, Angel, The Bewitched Hands) and Odilon Horman (Chester Remington, Black Bones). Resolutely pop and dance-oriented, the Reims-based group regularly unveils new tracks, with visuals created by Anthonin. On stage, the trio offers a compact set, a kind of live indie house mixtape, where tracks flow into one another with electro transitions. The tempo builds throughout the set, rising from 90 to 150 bpm at its climax. On social media, M.A.O. Cormontreuil's image and communication have been built around a fictional agency in equally fictional offices, recalling both the DIY spirit with which the band produces its music and the early days of M.A.O. in the early 2000s.

Since its creation, the band has released over fifteen tracks on digital platforms, with the aim of releasing a new track every 7 to 8 weeks.

SOCIAL DANCE was born in Marseille from the imagination of 3 best friends. Faustine, Thomas and Ange laid the foundations of its uninhibited and absurd pop. One can already detect in their style the crucial influence of Talking Heads' trances, LCD Soundsystem's electronic syncopations and the spirit of Les Rita Mitsouko. The trio released their very first single "Parler" in June 2022 under the Lisbon Lux Records label, a Montreal-based home for Electro and Alternative Pop music. A little over a year after the "Rumeurs" that escaped from their first EP, including the hit "Parler", the Marseille trio Social Dance makes a "Volte-Face" with a new EP released on May 17, which confirms their growing success. A few media splashes and sixty concerts later, this second EP invokes more than ever euphoric and unifying pop, in which Faustine, Ange and Thomas deploy an energy widely acclaimed on stage.
