For Paris Design Week 2026, studio dach&zephir — winner of the Grand Prix de la Création de la Ville de Paris 2026, engagement category — takes over the boardroom, a private lounge at Galeries Lafayette Champs-Élysées.

The duo, whose Franco-Caribbean imaginaries inform both their approach and their projects (from research to object publishing, including transmission), here envisions an anniversary exhibition.

Titled Souvenances, the exhibition presents an unprecedented body of pieces/installations conceived by the duo, where archives, images, texts, and materials compose a recomposed narrative of ten years since the studio's creation.

The boardroom thus becomes a sensitive setting: a living memory box where a collection of imaginaries, knowledge, and savoir-faire that have punctuated their trajectory and shaped their journey are deposited. What to do with these field images that accompany the projects?

How to showcase ten years of memories without falling into a monographic exhibition?

Like a thank you addressed to the distant past, the exhibition offers freeze-frames: The object-installations — willingly blending the codes of personal, administrative, and office archiving with those of fashion showrooms — become receptacles of stories, both textual and visual, patiently preserved.
