About twenty artists with eclectic musical horizons with three stages around a square like Parisians love: Place Maurice Chevalier in Paris 20th. And it's free!
After four widely applauded editions that gathered far beyond the neighborhood, the fifth edition of Septembre Indien festival is taking shape.
It will be Saturday 19 September from noon to midnight and Sunday 20 September from 1:00pm to 7:00pm on Place Maurice Chevalier, between Belleville and Ménilmontant, in Paris's 20th arrondissement. A 100% volunteer and entirely free-access festival.
About twenty artists with eclectic musical horizons on three stages around a square like Parisians love them: Place Maurice Chevalier, facing Notre-Dame de la Croix Church. Rock, pop, rap, French song, reggae, dub, samba, choirs….
Alongside concerts: associations engaged socially and locally, local creators, a stand for children, neighborhood schools for decoration… are also present on a vendor village. And the fabulous bar from the Septembre Indien team serving real pints.
Not forgetting technical support for sound, two essential partners: ENS Louis-Lumière and BTS Audiovisuel Jacques Prévert.
Almost all the programming names: the Tapages fanfare, Jamais Jamais, the Pop and Soul choir, Objet, Aàgut, Plumes, Jean Jacques B & Brothers, the Americans, Estaetic, lovebuzz, Mammoth, jazz2ménil, the Hip Hop section of Colette Besson middle school, Delirio Brothers, After JC, The Broken Arms, HOGO!
