After years of increasingly wild concerts before electrified crowds, with a group in constant composition evolution, fatigue eventually catches up with him and Ubovich understands that a new change is on the horizon.

He then retreats to the depths of Los Angeles, seeking meaning and a fresh start. Ubovich surrenders to this world, neglects his own well-being and tries to forget his successes. It is at this moment that Flora Ocean Tiger Bloom begins to take shape.

After quitting drinking, Ubovich begins writing at home and in various studios with his long-time collaborator Dylan Fujioka. The official production of Flora finally begins in 2019, but the story remains unfinished.

Disagreements with the studio cause tension and the project is interrupted. The half-finished album seems then abandoned.

After tensions have eased and much discussion about the future of the record, Ubovich finally gets the green light to complete production in 2020 - but a new obstacle arises: the pandemic. And as the world pauses, the idea of Flora Ocean Tiger Bloom is put aside.

Refusing to sit still at home, Ubovich revisits his old demos with Fujioka while continuing to write for Flora. From this work comes 333, which became Meatbodies' third official album.

Yet Flora never truly leaves his mind, and Ubovich returns once more to the idea of completing this almost mythical album. As restrictions begin to lift, he heads to Gold Diggers Sound studio, accompanied by engineer Ed McEntee and a team of friends and collaborators.
