DeVotchKa "A Celebration of the Music of Little Miss Sunshine" Tour of the United Kingdom and the European Union in October 2026

When filmmakers Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris heard the evocative melodies of DeVotchKa drifting over a radio station in Santa Monica, they knew they had found the emotional heart of their film, Little Miss Sunshine. That instinct proved prophetic. The soundtrack and score DeVotchKa composed for the 2006 film have become inseparable from its story. The bittersweet orchestration that accompanies the Hoover family's journey across the country captured themes of hope, resilience and beautifully imperfect dreams. This work earned DeVotchKa a Grammy Award nomination in the Best Compilation Soundtrack Album category, and the film won two Oscars. Introducing audiences worldwide to the group's cinematic sound and sumptuous orchestration, songs such as "Til the End of Time" and "How It Ends" transcended the screen to become anthems. Two decades later, DeVotchKa is marking this landmark collaboration with a special 20th anniversary tour, "A Celebration of the Music of Little Miss Sunshine", revisiting the soundtrack and score that propelled them into the heart of the cultural conversation, and reminding us that sometimes the most beautiful twists of fate give birth to the most enduring art.
