Manouche jazz — Duved Dunayevsky, master of Django Reinhardt's style, invites you to an afternoon full of virtuosity and emotion in the heart of Paris.

Duved Dunayevsky is a guitarist, composer and conductor based in Paris. He is widely recognized as the leading exponent of Django Reinhardt's 1930s guitar style. Born in Israel, Duved is largely self-taught.

He spent his teenage years playing fusion jazz, with a particular interest in John Scofield's work. He discovered Django Reinhardt's music and then decided to devote himself entirely to this style.

He has acquired a reputation for his remarkable ability to embody "that sound" so beloved by Django fans and sought by students of the style. He is, with violinist Daniel Garlitsky, at the origin of the reformation of the historic Quintette du Hot Club de France.
