It is therefore starting from one of them, The Mask of the Red Death by Edgar Allan Poe, set to music by André Caplet, that a double project takes shape: to tell this fantastic story again and create another one that responds to it.

To this first narration thus succeeds a fantastic tale invented, written and narrated by Yanowski, set to music by Corentin Apparailly.

Commissioned by La Belle Saison, The She-Wolf thus created brings together on stage an actor, a string quartet, a trumpet, a bassoon, percussion and a harp.

In this poetic object made of echoes and mysterious narrations, each character has their voice, each theme is embodied by a sound, a rhythm, a figure. Yanowski's voice, sometimes sung, sometimes spoken, provides the moving frame of new, captivating music, full of tension.
