Dans le Ventre des Cerveaux

DANS LE VENTRE DES CERVEAUX Welcome to « Dans le ventre des cerveaux  », a radio programme broadcast in prime time and hosted by the celebrated Isabelle Percot. Tonight, on the occasion of Earth Day, the station has gone all out.

The programme will be recorded live from the Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord in Paris! A special day calls for a special broadcast!

True to the concept of the programme, columnist Jean-Jacques Flichet, accompanied by Cathie, will make our stomachs philosophise, serving us a meal linked to the theme of the evening. Isabelle and her team have many surprises in store.

Tonight we are here to decarbonise our minds and our plates! We will all roll up our sleeves together! We will go out among the audience to gather testimonies and look for solutions to address the apocalyptic future that is announced everywhere.

The subject is serious and deserves an in-depth debate, but Isabelle promises that we will not sacrifice anything of form, and therefore of playfulness!

One columnist quotes Erasmus: « Nothing is more foolish than treating frivolous things seriously; but nothing is more witty than putting frivolities to serious use!

» The subject of the evening nevertheless confronts us with our paradoxes, with our inaction in the face of relentless figures and unanswerable findings: the destruction of living things, the legacy to our children of a damaged world,...

It confronts us with our condition as mortals and with the question « why do we live?  » What do we choose to value today in a world that is gradually taking away the promise of an « after us  »?

« Dans le ventre des cerveaux  » will she be ready to sacrifice a little form for substance? Warning: This show contains strobe lighting and visual effects including fake blood. These elements may disturb some sensitive people.
