JERSEY move fast… but never leave anything to chance. After a meteoric rise triggered by a viral buzz, JERSEY took the time to plan their return. The Norman brothers Carl and Renaud draw their energy from UK rock, French Touch, and 2010s EDM to create intense, emotional, and festive music designed to bring people together. After only two EPs (The World I’m Searching For and Over & Over), a series of remixes and collaborations (Phœnix, Justice, MGNA Crrrta…), and notable appearances on renowned international stages (Coachella, Portola, Primavera…), JERSEY mark their return with their first album NOTHING’S FAKE. The title, borrowed from one of their live jingles, “Nothing’s fake, everything’s live music” plays with our perceptions. Modified voices, distorted faces, live-captured videos, viral happenings, deliberate staging: JERSEY blur the lines between illusion and reality. The music follows the same impulse.
