Alongside him, Layla Musselwhite, daughter of legendary Charlie Musselwhite, brings her personal touch with expressive slide guitar, inhabited vocals and true songwriting sense, nurtured by their two albums of original compositions.
Together, they form a complicit duo that gets straight to the point: they play, they sing, they respond to each other with naturalness and intensity. Between heritage, feeling and spontaneity, their blues doesn't try too hard. It hits just right, and that's exactly what we love.
