The Colour Monster no longer understands anything… All its emotions are running wild… A show for children aged 2 to 8 to discover and navigate emotions.

Today, it's a mess! The colour monster feels all muddled up. Its emotions are topsy-turvy! It doesn't understand what's happening to it. Will it manage to sort out its heart and regain its balance with the help of its friend? This show, freely inspired by Anna Llenas's best-seller, allows children to untangle the overflow of emotions they sometimes face, by putting words to them to help them understand what they are going through. And what could be more relevant than entrusting this task to a clown who, with her red nose, might be angry, sad, happy, in love… or all at once? The art of clowning facilitates improvisation in the present moment with the audience. The clown is the part of us that is not socially visible. It is there. It is a raw diamond that reacts in its own singular way, like all children. It relies on the spectators, showing them what they feel, and a magical relationship naturally develops between them. "La Couleur des émotions", a clown solo introducing small cardboard monsters and a kamishibaï (literally "paper theatre"), a Japanese narrative genre, a kind of travelling theatre where artists tell stories by displaying illustrations to the audience. A suspended, poetic, funny, and dreamlike moment for the whole family. This show is presented as part of the Parisian festival of shows for young audiences "L’été des p’tits futés" organised by the Théâtre Darius Milhaud, located next to the Parc de la Villette and the Buttes-Chaumont.
