Issa, a young Eritrean, left for dead in the Calais "jungle", has lost his memory. With his passport being the only tangible element of his past, he embarks on a long, obstacle-ridden quest to obtain a residence permit, surrounded by companions in misfortune.

“Generally speaking, I never want to write about a theme, but rather base myself on a precise idea or situation, which then gives birth to the architecture of the show. I wrote this new play in Guadeloupe, alone, after having matured its outlines for over a year and having researched extensively. It is not a militant or documentary theatre, but a human story, which speaks to everyone,” confides Alexis Michalik.
