• While France is undergoing an unprecedented upheaval, Olympe, author, director, and troupe leader, tries in vain to have her text Zamore et Mirza performed at the Comédie-Française. The refusal imposed on her has no other motive than ordinary misogyny.

Olympe falls into a rage as powerful as the one resonating in the streets of Paris.

She joins the fight, actively participating in the construction of a new society.

Like many citizens, she believes that the 'man' in 'All men are born free and equal' also includes women.
