Overview
The famous story of the wooden puppet comes to life on the stage of the Théâtre Jean Bart in a young audience adaptation by Compagnie Mariska Val-de-Loire.
This theatrical production invites young audiences to follow the adventures of the famous wooden puppet within a visual world designed especially for children. Driven by Philippe Andos's direction, the show deploys an aesthetic faithful to traditional fairy tales while speaking directly to younger viewers.
On stage, the company's actors bring the various protagonists of this coming-of-age quest to life through a sequence of well-paced tableaux. Families will thus discover an accessible theatrical version that focuses on puppetry and acting, without superfluous artifice.
The performance takes place in the main auditorium of the Théâtre Jean Bart in Saint-Nazaire, a cultural venue well-suited for family outings. The entire production favours a direct and warm format, ideal as a first introduction to live theatre.
