Robert Badinter - L'Enragé de Justice

ROBERT BADINTER" L'enragé de justice "Text by Nina Pynson Directed by: Jérémie Lippman Cast: Stéphane Guillon, Garance Bocobza and Mathias Maréchal "Robert Badinter never ceased to question the law. Lawyer, then statesman, he devoted himself entirely to a single demand: justice. From the courtroom of the assize court to the great reforms, he embodies an unbending conscience, sustained by moral strength and a fervent faith in human dignity.

Stéphane Guillon takes on the challenge of embodying this towering figure and lending him a voice. For Badinter demands total commitment, power and conviction.

Through a handful of decisive moments and more intimate instants, the play traces the path of a man for whom justice was never an abstraction, but a burning responsibility, borne before jurors, citizens and an entire country.

Blending confidences and political epic, Nina Pynson's play, directed by Jérémie Lippmann, reminds us of a simple truth: a handful of upright consciences, driven by ideals and courage, can change the collective destiny."

Following the performance, a round-table discussion will be held on the stage of the theatre on the theme: What do we do today with Robert Badinter's legacy: is it a living foundation for defending the rule of law… or a memory we celebrate without truly carrying it forward?
