David Guetta

David Guetta, born November 7, 1967 in Paris, is a French disc jockey, composer, and music producer. He began his career as an adolescent before becoming a professional just before adulthood. He became known early in his career as a prominent figure in the Paris nightlife scene, gaining his first experience in various Parisian venues at the end of the 1980s. He later created his own club nights in Ibiza.

From 2007 onwards, he achieved international recognition with his albums Pop Life and One Love. Since then, several of his tracks such as When Love Takes Over, Sexy Bitch, and Gettin' Over You have topped sales charts worldwide. His fame has continued to grow, evidenced by his sales records, his ability to fill the largest venues during performances, and his social media following. He entered the DJ Mag rankings in 2005 and was elected "World's Most Popular DJ" by DJ Mag six years later.

Major names from the urban music scene collaborate on most of his recent singles, but he also participates in introducing new talents. In 2013, David Guetta's track When Love Takes Over, in collaboration with Kelly Rowland, was elected the best pop-dance collaboration of all time by Billboard magazine. In summer 2018, following the release of his seventh album, 7, David Guetta had accumulated more than 13 million albums and 81 million singles sold worldwide. Globally recognized, he composed the official anthem of Euro 2016, held in France.

He is also the most-followed French artist on YouTube, with more than 27.5 million subscribers.
