Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, known as Doja Cat (/ˈdoʊdʒə ˈkæt/), born 21 October 1995 in Los Angeles, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, gaming streamer, and music director, described by press as "the queen of pop-rap".
In late 2019, her second album, Hot Pink, entered the top 10 of the Billboard 200, and its lead single, Say So, quickly became a major hit; the remix with Nicki Minaj reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100.
Her third album, Planet Her (2021), also received great attention, particularly for the track Kiss Me More.
In 2023, she released Paint the Town Red, a new global hit, and was named to Time 100 that year.
