55Asky

French emerging artist 55ASKY develops a hybrid, emotional music in which the voice becomes an instrument in its own right.

Coming from the hyperpop, digicore and alternative electronic music scenes, his musical universe is marked by a blending of genres, mixing rap, experimental pop, reggaeton, qcom and even shatta.

Constantly evolving, he explores new sounds by collaborating with other artists and pushing musical boundaries. 55ASKY rejects predefined categories and seeks to cross the limits of genres.

Very private by nature, he chose anonymity from his first public appearances, wearing a mask to put the emphasis on his voice and the messages in his lyrics. This personal effacement gives him a profound creative freedom.

Through his lyrics, 55ASKY addresses social themes such as antiracism and violence against women, drawing on his personal experiences. His discretion lets little of his story through, but his tracks reveal fragments of his life across the verses.

His universe, open to everyone to see, often refers to his childhood, his heartbreaks and his excesses. Influenced by pop culture, rap culture and cinema, he regularly pays tribute to these inspirations.

Recognisable by his shades of pink and violet and his distinctive visual signature, 55ASKY also draws on Art Brut, which nourishes several aspects of his musical career.

His career under the name 55ASKY officially began in early 2023 on SoundCloud, where his first listeners discovered him. His digitised, powerful, melancholic and heavily processed voice, along with his glitched universe, quickly won over an audience attentive to his singularity.

This initial success led him to release his first single on Spotify, Lymbes, as well as a first EP, Zonia-553.
