At school, Félix Roguier harasses his ex-girlfriend Bertheline Flamand. The parents of the two young people meet in a local bar, the 'café des amis', to try and resolve this dispute with civility and intelligence.
The couples seem keen to show tolerance and moderation, as adults should. Unfortunately, the discussion sours, masks fall, and superficial courtesy drowns in an ocean of pettiness and blame… The initial calm is nothing but a distant memory!
