Atelier poterie

I invite you to my studio for a 2.5-hour introduction to working with clay. During this session you can model and then decorate the object of your choice. I will guide you on choosing the item to create and support you through the various shaping techniques. The clay we use is white stoneware, which you can paint and decorate using tools and around fifteen different colours.

All levels are welcome and the minimum age is 14. The clay requires a drying period followed by two firings in the studio's ceramic kiln. Allow one month before you can collect your creation (postal delivery is available for an extra charge payable on the day of the workshop). If you have your own apron, you are welcome to bring it!

Please note that clay is a live and fragile material, so there is a risk of breakage during firing. This is an inherent hazard of the craft and the studio cannot be held responsible.
